Imran issues notices to party MPAs on someone else directives: Amir Muqam
PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president Amir Muqam has said that Imran Khan has issued notices to his party members of provincial assembly on someone else directives.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he said that Imran Khan did not even know his party’s lawmakers. “The PTI chairman receives instruction on a chit, but wants to become prime minister of Pakistan,” he added.
He maintained that the PTI chairman issued show-cause notice to a PML-N MPA.
MPA Babar Salim, PML-N parliamentary leader in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Sardar Aurangzeb Nalotha was also present at the press conference.
He said that his party would file a defamation suit against Imran Khan for maligning PML-N’s MPA, adding that PTI had paved the way for horse-trading when it awarded tickets to capitalists.
Amir Muqam alleged that the PTI lawmakers had followed their party chief who had sold votes to Asif Ali Zardari. “Imran Khan and Pervez Khattak had brokered the sale and purchase of votes in Senate election,” he alleged.
He said that Imran Khan had entered into alliance with the family who had the highest number of offshore companies. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government could not complete any mega project while borrowed a huge sum for Bus Rapid Transit project, he added.
Amir Muqam said that one MPA of his party had violated party discipline in the Senate election and would face consequences for his action.
