Five killed in accidents
SUKKUR: Five people, including a mother and daughter, were among those killed in two different road accidents on Friday. Three people were killed, and two injured when their car overturned at the National Highway, Khairpur, at Hingorja. The local police and volunteers rushed to rescue the victims and shifted them to a nearby local hospital. The doctors declared three of the victims, including Mst. Sakina Rind, her five-year-old daughter Sanam and Abdul Salam Rind dead, while Afroza and Amna are stated to be in critical condition. SHO Hingorja Abdul Jabbar Memon described reckless driving as the likely cause of the accident. The victims were on their way to Shahdadpur from Shikarpur. In yet another road accident involving a car and a motorcycle near Sajawal, two people, Tariq Ahmed, resident of Larkana, and an unidentified person were killed.
