SUKKUR: The Accountability Court, Sukkur on Friday, awarded five-year imprisonment to contractor Qasim Shah for misappropriation of Rs 10 million in a road development scheme. The court also ordered registration of an FIR against NAB investigation officer Rizwan Alam Shaikh for an improper inquiry into the affair. According to the prosecution, Rs10 million were misappropriated during construction of the Qamber- Shahdadkot Road in 2015.
