ISLAMABAD: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Tuesday recommended a ban on the National Testing Service (NTS) and other private testing services and suggested that the universities should develop their own mechanisms for tests.
The committee observed that the future of the youth could not be handed over to the NTS which neither accepted the Higher Education Commission (HEC) nor the Ministry of Science and Technology. Chaired by Syed Khursheed Shah, the committee examined the audit paras relating to the HEC for the financial year 2016-17.
