LAHORE : Dry weather was observed in City on Tuesday while Met Office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
Met officials said a westerly wave was affecting the upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist till Friday. They predicted rain-thundershower with gusty winds at scattered places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rawalpindi division, Islamabad, upper FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, and at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, Bannu, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad and Sahiwal divisions.
Rainfall was recorded in different cities, including Malamjabba (53mm), Cherat (45), Risalpur (36), Pattan (29), Kalam (25), Balakot (22), Mirkhani, Kakul (20), Dir (19), Parachinar (15), Lower Dir (12), Chitral, Drosh (10), Saidu Sharif (6), Kohat (4), D.I.Khan (2), Garidupatta (36), Muzaffarabad (32), Rawalakot (21), Kotli (15), Murree (34), Jhang (20), Mangla, Bhakkar (14), Sargodha (PAF 13, City 12), Layyah (9), Islamabad (Saidpur 8, Bokra 07, Golra 4), Rawalpindi (Chaklala 8, Shamsabad 5),Noorpurthal (5), Sialkot (AP 4, City 3), Joharabad (4), Jhelum , Kamra, Shorkot (3), Chakwal, Gujrat, M.B.Din (2), Faisalabad, Kot Addu (1), Ziarat (4), Astore (3) and Bagrote (1mm).
