Doctors call off strike

CHARSADDA: The doctors at the Charsadda District Headquarters Hospital called off their protest after assurance from the police about provision of security to the staff. A delegation of doctors led by Dr Imran Khan, Dr Khan Shah and others held talks with District Police Officer Zahoor Afridi who assured them of foolproof security.The police assured the doctors that the cases against them would be quashed while strict action would be taken against the elements who had damaged the hospital property.
