SEHWAN: The Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, has said the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML N) has a long history of enmity with Sindh as its ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif never focused on Sindh to solve the problems of the people. Shahbaz should tell the people what he has done for the people of Karachi in the last five years.
He stated this while addressing 11th death anniversary of his father former Sindh chief minister Syed Abdullah Shah observed here at his native village Wahur Murad Ali Shah of taluka Sehwan on Saturday.
Talking about Shahbaz Sharif's visit to Karachi, Murad Ali Shah said like a seasonal frog, Shahbaz Sharif has come out here because the general elections are approaching. After the disqualification of his brother he [Shahbaz] has taken over as president of his party and has realised that Sindh is an important province where a large number of voters are living, he said and added but your visit would bear no fruit because people of Sindh know you very well that your visit and your promises are like bubble of hot water, he said. Murad Ali Shah said the people of Sindh were, are and would always be supporting the PPP because it is the PPP which right from its founder Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto to Quaid Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and to Asif Ali Zardari have been serving people of Sindh, infact the people of whole Pakistan without any discrimination.Paying rich tribute to his father Syed Abdullah Shah the former chief minister of Sindh Murad Shah said as a chief minister his services of would always be remembered.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Chief Minister has come up with his own improvised version of the popular slogan “Marsu Marsu Sindh na Desu” used by the ruling PPP government in Sindh. Shahbaz tweeted his improvised version, saying those who raised the slogan “Marsu Marsu Sindh na Desu” in fact meant “Marsu Marsu Koee Kam na Kar Su”.
Responding to the tweet, PPP leader Maula Bakhsh Chandio said those who had run away after making apologies could only make mockery of “Marsu Marsu”. Chandio said Shahbaz has started touring the country to celebrate the life-time disqualification of his elder brother. “Shahbaz should keep with him the artificial development of his province as foundations of a sustainable development are being laid here in Sindh,” he said, adding Shahbaz should not worry about Sindh as he should better face the corruption cases.
