MARDAN: The district government on Saturday awarded cash prizes to 200 students who achieved distinctive marks in the secondary school certificate (SSC) and higher secondary school certificate (HSSC) examination of 2017.
The awards were given at a function held at the Services Club in Sheikh Maltoon Town. District Nazim Himaytullah Mayar was chief guest while the position holder students of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Mardan, and their parents attended the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Himaytullah Mayar said that the district government was trying it best to provide facilities to the students.
“The district government has started a project in the name of “Stoori Da Mardan” and Rs1.30 million were allocated in district budget for it,” he added.
