Torture of colleague: LG officers set deadline for FIR registration against lady MPA, others

PESHAWAR: The Local Government Officers Association has set three-day deadline to the police to register a first information report against woman lawmaker Nighat Orakzai and others for injuring Deputy Director Terminals City, Riaz Ahmad Awan, by throwing acid on his face. The association’s president Ihsanullah, senior vice-president Alamzeb Khan, general secretary Mian Shafiqur Rehman and others held a meeting at the Local Governance School in Hayatabad. They condemned the act of the female MPA and others for throwing acid on the officer who was performing his duty.
