Words won’t cut it
There is no dearth of natural wealth, neither is there a shortage of trustworthy and hardworking people in this country. If guided in the right direction, Pakistanis can make their country an example to be followed by others. But, unfortunately, Pakistan has become a country where people do not have any goals. Currently, Pakistan is going through a difficult phase, but what is more disturbing is the fact that it lacks leadership. It is heading right towards the storm in a rudderless boat.
March 23 is here. It is a day we celebrate with great fervour. The roads are lit up, state-level celebrations are held, print and electronic media too organise programmes in accordance with the day’s historic significance. But what next? It is high time we started thinking about setting things right.
