Committees’ role lauded in resolving expats problems

LAHORE: Vice chairperson Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab, senator Shaheen Khalid Butt said District Overseas Pakistanis Committees (DOPCs) are playing an active role in resolving issues of overseas Pakistanis at the grassroots. Due to vibrant working of DOPCs, relief has been provided to thousands of overseas Pakistanis. In his statement Tuesday, he said on the special instructions of chief minister, OPC is working on fast track basis and 60 percent of the complaints have been redressed so far. He said overseas Pakistanis can any time contact OPC for resolution of their issues.
