100 rare copies of Quran donated to Faisal Mosque

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will put on display over 100 rare manuscripts of the Holy Quran here at Faisal Mosque by the end of this month.
On request of the Member Administration CDA Muhammad Yasir Pirzada, an educationist Professor Zahid Butt has donated around 100 manuscripts which are 200 to 700 years old to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for preserving those inside the Faisal Mosque. Member Administration on Tuesday handed over manuscripts to administration of the Faisal Mosque. “The step has been taken to properly preserve the holy asset,” a CDA official said.
