MQM to break apart soon, says Khursheed
KHAIRPUR: The Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, has said Imran Khan should satisfy his desire of visiting Sindh but the people of Sindh will not vote for him.
He said this while talking to journalists in Khairpur on Monday after offering condolences to former chief minister, Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah over the demise of his niece Bibi Irshad Jeelani.
Khursheed Shah said Imran Khan speaks a lot but does not do any practical work. He said Sindh has produced genuine political leadership. Making a forecast about the MQM, he said there is serious friction in the MQM-P over who would lead the party and it would soon be dismembered.
Advising NAB to be discreet, the leader of the opposition said the NAB must give news about corruption probe, but only after conducting a thorough investigation and with irrefutable evidence.
The news, he said, should not serve to embarrass the innocent. He said the NAB as of now gives stories to media about people against whom it has not even initiated any investigations. He termed this attitude as inappropriate. About NAB's inquiry against PML-N Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Khursheed Shah said the leader prove his innocence by appearing before NAB for the inquiry.
