Charges of illegal travelling : Over 70 Pakistanis deported from Gulf countries arrive
LAHORE: Over 70 Pakistanis were deported from Gulf countries on charges of illegal travelling.
According to FIA officials, 50 passengers arrived from Muscat at Lahore airport on Saturday.
They said the passengers had travelled to the UAE from different airports in different years and went to Muscat via land route in connivance with agents.
They were deported back on emergency passports. Over 20 passengers arrived through another flight from Muscat at Lahore airport. The FIA officials said the passengers had illegally travelled to Muscat via sea route.
In another incidents, two passengers, Risa Horikawa (Japan national) and Lucas Huang Kaiquan (Singapore national), arrived at Lahore airport but were deported after they failed to produce required papers. In another case, Waheeda Kausar was deported from Italy with a fake visa sticker.
