Partly cloudy forecast

LAHORE: Dry weather with partly cloudy conditions was observed in the city here Thursday while met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.

Met officials said dry continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is affecting western parts of the country and is likely to persist until today (Friday). They predicted that mainly dry weather is expected in most plain areas and cold in northern areas of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand, DI Khan, DG Khan, Zhob divisions and Fata. Rainfall was only recorded at DG Khan (01mm). Met officials said Thursday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Astore where mercury dropped down to -03°C.
