Newborn found dead in dustbin

LAHORE: A newborn was recovered dead from a dustbin in the limits of Shahdara. Police believed that an unidentified woman had thrown her illegitimate baby to conceal her sin. Body was shifted to morgue.

BODIES FOUND: Two men were found dead in different areas. A 35-year-old man was recovered dead from an open drain in Chung area. Police suspected that some unidentified people had killed the victim and later threw his body in an open drain.

A 40-year-old man was found dead in the limits of Mozang area. Police shifted the bodies to morgue for autopsy. Police performance: SP Mujahid reviewed police security performance at entry and exit points of the city. He admonished in-charges of police pickets on showing poor performance.

He directed the officials to be polite with the citizens and make them realise that they were true protectors of their lives and property.
