BHAKKAR: Anti-polio campaign will start here from March 16.
It was said by EDO Health Dr Muhammad Suleman while addressing the opening session of training of incharges of Basic Health Units, LHWs and vaccination staff at the DHDC on Tuesday. He said that the LHWs would participate in the campaign after completing their training.
EXAMINATION CENTRE INSPECTED: Sargodha Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Controller Examinations Liaqat Naveed on Tuesday inspected an examination centre established at the CTTM High School, Behal.
The controller examinations expressed satisfaction on the arrangements taken for the Secondary School exams. He said that no one would be allowed to use unfair means during the exams.
SEMINAR: A seminar was organised in connection with the International Women’s Day at the Government Degree College for Women on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Zeba said that the Punjab government was taking effective steps to enhance role of women in different fields of life. She said that the government had increased women’s job quota from 5 per cent to 15 per cent.
