Islamabad: Hundreds of people mostly belonging to middle class of the society who bought apartments in various high-rise projects in Sector E-11 are perturbed over the future of these projects, which according to the civic authority violate the buildings bye-laws of the capital city.
“I have got to know through media that 84 high-rise projects in Sector E-11 have been completed in violation of the buildings bye-laws. Some three years ago I had bought 2-bed apartment in one of these projects for Rs6 million,” said Khaliqdad, who works at a private company.
He said: “Now I am worried about the future of my apartment because the money that I had paid for it was total saving of my life. I don’t have any more money so any mishap in this respect will ruin my life.”
