The exuberant economic lifestyle of the West compels citizens of developing countries to risk their lives and make their ways to Europe. Hundreds of people have lost their lives in the past, but nothing has stopped people from embarking on this dangerous journey. However, this continued misery must end now.
The developing countries must take the following steps to alleviate the suffering of the people. Different state-sponsored poverty alleviation programmes must initiated by developing countries. These countries should increase literacy rate and encourage FDIs for better job creations. Positive steps, if taken today, can save thousands of lives.
