KARACHI: PCB Dynamites were crowned champions when they crushed PCB Challengers by 190 runs in the final of the Triangular One-Day Women Cricket Tournament 2018 at the Multan Stadium on Tuesday.
Nida Dar (109*) and Javeria Khan (106) blasted fine hundreds to shepherd PCB Dynamites to 283-4 in the stipulated 50 overs.Nida hammered ten fours and a six in her 101-ball unfinished knock. Javeria smashed 15 fours in her 127-ball effort.
Elizabeth Barrat got 2-60. Thanks to Natalia Pervaiz (3-10) and Aliya Riaz (3-27), PCB Dynamites dismissed PCB Challengers for only 93 in the 39th over.
Subhana Tariq also had impressive figures of 2-16. Sidra Amin scored 48 not out, hitting five fours from 105 balls. The winners PCB Dynamites were handed over a glittering trophy and a purse of Rs200,000, while PCB Challengers went away with the runners-up trophy and a cheque of Rs100,000.
Nida got richer by Rs10,000 after being declared the best player of the event. Nida and Javeria shared Rs5000 player of the match award.
