Nawaz also used party account to launder money, alleges Fawad
LAHORE: PTI Central Secretary Information Fawad Chaudhry has said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif also used his party account for money-laundering. Addressing a press conference Monday, Fawad said all the political parties are bound to make their foreign accounts public. He said when the PML-N submitted an application in the Election Commission; it didn’t have any office in Lahore. He said the PTI moved court over the issue of foreign funding and Nawaz failed to provide his signed affidavit on the funding received from abroad and on this ground the PML-N could be out of the election race. He also said former finance minister Ishaq Dar was given safe passage with complete support of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and the PM’s aircraft was used to send him abroad. Besides, he said PML-N leader Zubair Gul had been booked in a murder case in Pakistan and he had been awarded a Senate ticket.
