Call to follow teachings of Islam
LAHORE:Speakers at a function highlighted various aspects of the life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) saying knowledge was his weapon with which he defeated his enemies.
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) was proud of his humbleness. Whosoever wants closeness with Almighty Allah should love His Prophet (PBUH), said speakers during a Seeratun Nabi (PBUH) programme organised by TECH Society Club on Sunday. Speakers included Justice (retd) Mian Nazir Akhtar, Justice (retd) Mian Saeed-ur-Rehman, former Minister of State Qayyum Nizami, Dr Muhammad Sadiq and Muhammad Zubair Sheikh.
Speakers paying rich tribute to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), said recitation of Darood-e-Pak continued since the creation of the spirit of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and would continue till the Day of Judgment. The whole life of the Prophet (PBUH) was a miracle as it was flawless and provides a complete code of life for all of us. Almighty Allah directly transferred knowledge to His beloved Prophet (PBUH). Almighty Allah said: “Don’t raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet (PBUH) or be loud to him in speech like the loudness of some of you to others, lest your deeds should become worthless while you perceive not”.
In another verse Almighty Allah said: “We also sent a messenger to you from amongst you to recite our revelations to you and to purify you, and to teach you the (Quran) and wisdom and to teach you what you knew not”. Almighty Allah also said about His beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), “And we have not sent you, except as a mercy to the worlds”. Almighty Allah said “And we raised high for you your repute”. In the end, TECH Society president presented bouquets to the speakers. Rana Tariq Mahmood, general secretary, and Justice (retd) Fazal Karim were also present.
