Gun laws

The Florida school shooting was a tragic event. What is even more horrific is the fact that a 19-year-old boy managed to carry out an attack which killed almost 17 people, of which the majority were students. The incident has invited a debate on gun laws. This debate is not limited to the US, in fact, in the past, many tragic incidents involving the use of gun in public heavily criticised the Pakistani authorities for not doing enough to restrict the use of weapons in public.

We have witnessed multiple incidents where a heated debate led to the use of gun which took the lives of innocent people. A couple of months ago, in Karachi, an 18-year-old driver was killed when armed men opened fire at his car. The higher authorities of our country must come up with a viable solution to tackle this matter in an effective manner.
