Islamabad play Peshawar in second semi-final

RAWALPINDI: Islamabad edged out Lahore by four wickets to book a semi-fina clash with Peshawar in the 6th National Disabled T20 Cricket Championship, says a press release.Peshawar top Group D with 6 points as they won all the three matches they have played while Islamabad with 5 points won two matches while one was washed out.

The both teams will meet today (Friday) in the second semi-final at 9:30am.Brief scores: At Diamond Ground: Peshawar 213-7 in 20 overs (Adeel Khan 87, Wajid Alam 38, Nihar Alam 31 not out; Najamul Hassan 1-18. Sialkot 166 all out in 19.5 overs (Ali Raza 64, Najamul Hassan 33; Abdullah 3-10, Fayyaz Ahmed 3-41. Man of the match: Adeel Khan (Peshawar).

At National Ground: Azad Kashmir 77 all out in 16.4 overs (Muhammad Aslam 26; Umer Ayaz 5-23, Muhammadullah 2-9, Asad Shanwari 2-12. Fata 79-0 in 6 overs (Shair Ali Afridi 45 not out, Asad Shanwari 17 not out. Man of the match: Umer Hayat (Fata).
