US welcomes Indo-Pak talks

WASHINGTON: The United States on Friday welcomed this week’s meeting between Pakistani and Indian diplomats, saying both the South Aaian neighbours stand to benefit from cooperative relations. State Department Deputy Spokesperson Marie Harf also noted the importance of Pakistan-Indian relations to the region.
