Mainly cold weather likely

LAHORE: Partly cloudy weather with dry conditions was observed in the city here Thursday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions with chances of rain during the next 24 hours.

Met officials said continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. Fresh westerly trough is likely to affect western parts of the country from today (Friday). They predicted that mainly cold and dry with partly cloudy weather is expected in most parts of the country. They added that light rain-thunderstorm (with light snow over the hills) is expected at few places in Quetta and Makran Divisions.
