Indian minister proposes all-out war with Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: In an obnoxious comment by an Indian Union Minister where he has spoken of an all out war with Pakistan and capture Azad Kashmir has offended defence and foreign affairs observers in Pakistan. They have said that India should be reminded that its minister has dared to a nuclear country consist of a brave nation.
Indian Union Minister and Dalit (Low caste Hindu) leader Ramdas Athawale, while referring the so-called pretext of ceasefire violations by Pakistan on Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir proposed an all-out decisive war with the neighbouring country with the aim of taking back Azad Kashmir. "Pakistan frequently violates ceasefire. Although we have extended hand of friendship to them so many times, I feel now the time has come for a decisive battle with Pakistan. That country needs to be taught a lesson," the union minister of state for social justice and empowerment said.
According to Indian media in his motion of thanks to president's address in Rajya Sabha (Upper house of Parliament), Athawale quoted former prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee to strengthen his rationale for the war with Pakistan. "India is a tiger and Pakistan is a midget in front of us. We should take a cue from what Atal ji said and warn Pakistan that if it doesn't accept our offer of friendship, we will attack," the Maharashtra leader said who is viewed as an untouchable by majority Hindus of India.
