MANSEHRA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police have formally launched a School of Operations in Mansehra district.
“We have been facing a serious challenge to maintain the fitness level of policemen. Now the cops would be trained physically and professionally for two months,” Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari, the district police officer, told reporters after the inaugural ceremony at Police Lines here on Saturday.
He said that it was a short course where trainees would run at least 5 km in morning besides daily parade, physical training and weapons handling and firing.
“We have also equipped the school with a modern gymnastic machines and auditorium,” he added.
