Jamia Al-Azhar VP to reach Pakistan today
KARACHI: A prominent figure of the Islamic world Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Hashim, who is the vice president of Jamia Al-Azhar in Egypt, is arriving here today on the invitation of Silsilah-i-Azeemia.
In the afternoon, Mahmoud, along with his host Dr Waqar Yousaf Azeemi, will interact with journalists at the Karachi Press Club. On Friday, January 26, he will attend the 27th Annual Spiritual Workshop being held at the Annual Urs of Imam Silsila-i-Azeemia Hazrat Mohammad Azeem Burkhia (RA). This intellectual gathering will be attended by delegates from various cities of Pakistan besides the US, Canada, UK, European Union, Russia, Middle East and many other countries. Silsila-i-Azeemia head Khwaja Shams-ud-Din Azeemi Sahib, Dr Mahmoud Al-Hashim, Dr Waqar Yousaf Azeemi, Dr Rashid Mateen and other dignitaries will also address the gathering.
