Principal’s murder flayed
The leadership of Pakistan Ulema Council has demanded of the chief justice of Pakistan to take suo motu of the murder of a private college principal in Shabqadar. A joint statement issued by Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) underlined that Islamic Shariah did not allow anyone to kill any innocent person on the status accusations. The PUC leaders stated that if anyone had committed blasphemy, even then court had the mandate to punish him/her. Self-interpretation of Islamic teachings is maligning the Muslims and Islam," they added. The PUC leaders, Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Allama Abdul Haq Mujahid, Maulana Ayub Safdar, Abdul Kareem Nadeem, Abdul Hameed Watto, Maulana Matiullah Saeedi, Maulana Shafi Qasmi, Maulana Tahir Aqeel, Maulana Ashfaq Patafi, Maulana Saad Zikriya and Maulana Shafi Qasmi demanded the CJP take suo motu of the murder of the college principal.
