ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Deaf Sports Federation (PDSF) held its board members’ meeting here at the Pakistan Sports Complex on Monday to elect new office-bearers.According to a press release, Nasir Mahmood Dar was elected as president and Tauseef Ahmed as secretary of the PDSF for the next term.
Other office-bearers who were elected on Monday include Sadaf Khawar Dar (assistant vice president, women), Shamsuddin Shah (senior vice president), Zeeshan Ahmed Khan (vice president), Syed Aqeel Ahmed (joint secretary), Hamza Sirhindi (finance secretary), Usman Ahmad (information secretary) and Abdullah (press secretary).
Abdul Rauf is the legal advisor while Fahad Umar is the interpreter. The executive committee consists of Waseem Rashid (Punjab), Rahim Wassan (Sindh), Abbas Khan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) and one member from Balochistan.The oath-taking ceremony also took place on the same day. Pakistan Sports Board’s Director General Dr Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera administered the oath to the new office-bearers.
