‘PUC moot to expose plots against Pakistan’
LAHORE: Pakistan Ulema Council chairman Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi announced that 'Tahafuz-e-Khatam-e-Nabuwat and Stability of Pakistan Conference' going to be held on 28th January on Mall Road, will expose all conspiracies being hatched against Pakistan on account of Finality of Prophethood Law.
He stated that Afghan President instead of accusing religious scholars of Pakistan should take action against clerics of Afghanistan who use to issue Jehad decrees against Pakistan. Talking to delegates of different religious sects here Monday in Islamabad, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said Ulema and Mashaykh of Pakistan had not only served people of Pakistan but also the entire Muslim world following the teachings of Quran-o-Sunnah.He asserted that he will expose the elements responsible for creating mess on the pretext of "Finality of Prophethood Law". He underlined that religious organisations are playing vital role by issuing decrees to condemn extremism and terrorism and it is for the first time that struggle of Ulema and Mashaykh have been acknowledged at state level in Pakistan and 'State Narrative against terrorism and extremism' should be implemented in the country with additional reforms. He asserted that National Narrative against terrorism and extremism that has be issued with the title of, "Paigham-e-Pakistan" should be transformed into proper legislation with additional reforms to be more effective in its influence.
He demanded the government to delete names of innocent Ulema and Mashaykh from 'Fourth Schedule' and lift ban on seminaries' registration. Pakistan Ulema Council chairman also announced that 'Tahafuz-e-Khatam-e-Nabuwat and Stability of Pakistan Conference' will be held on 28th January 2018 on Mall Road, Lahore, in which all the conspiracies being hatched against Pakistan on account of Finality of Prophethood Law will be exposed.
