Hashoo Group gets three CSR awards
Islamabad : Hashoo Group secured three Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) awards for its significant contributions in social development through different remarkable interventions in the following categories: Community Development & Services, Vocational Training, and Education & Scholarships.
On behalf of Hashoo Group, Ayesha Khan, country director, Hashoo Foundation/Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Hashoo Group, received the awards from Marriyum Aurangzeb, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Jam Kamal Khan, Minister of State for Petroleum.
The well-attended event, 10th Annual International Summit on CSR-2018, was organised by the National Forum for Environment and Health & CSR Club. The chief guest on the occasion was the President of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Sardar Masood Khan.
Meanwhile, a wildlife awareness event arranged by CDA with Hashoo Group as one of the chief sponsors was a treat for the guests and participating schools.
Attended by senior officials from the defence, tourism, and heritage preservation departments, the effort was greatly appreciated by VP (Operations) Haseeb Gardezi who represented Hashoo Group on the occasion. It was announced by Executive Director General Environment Unit Sanaullah Aman that a park in F-6/3 would also be provided to Hashoo Group for uplifting.
This project will be part of Hashoo Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), not only to provide citizens of the capital a beautiful environment to spend more time in the outdoors but adding to the aesthetics of the city.
“A plantation project announced by CDA will also be a project Hashoo Group shall be collaborating with. Striving to be a socially responsible organisation we will be aiming to undertake many projects under our plans for the betterment of environment as well as communities” said Haseeb Gardezi.
The event at Marghazar Zoo was a treat for those who attended. With young students from local schools who prepared and presented the threats to birds and different species making them extinct due to careless human behaviour.
