Railways upgrades train rake
LAHORE: Pakistan Railways have prepared new and upgraded rake of Allama Iqbal Express. Federal Minster for Railway Khawaja Saad Rafique will inaugurate the new Allama Iqbal Express on Saturday (today) at Lahore Railway Station.
It is pertinent to mention here that each upgraded rake consist of 16 coaches.Delegation: A delegation of Chinese rail engine preparing company Dalian called on Federal Minster for Pakistan Railway (PR) Khawaja Saad Rafique here on Friday.
The delegation, headed by Dalian General Manager Li Di Pu, offered restoration of obsolete engines of Pakistan railway. The minister said the decision would be taken after consultation with experts and engineers.
Pakistan Railway CEO and other officials were present in the meeting.transferred: Pakistan Railways on Friday issued notice of transfer of an officer. Civil Engineering Department design officer Dost Ali Laghari has been transferred to federal government inspector of railways.
