Stags clinch Tauseef Cricket trophy

LAHORE: Stags Club has won the 21st Tauseef Trophy Cricket Championship after securing 53 points. In the least League match Stags Club defeated Ludhiana Gym by 30 runs in exciting match played at Stags Ground.

Fine bowling by Rizwan Siddiq (5/8) and dashing batting by Umer Siddiq were the main feature of the match. In League Matches Stags Club has secured 53 points, Ludihana Gym 42 points, Model Town Greens 22 while Albilal Club secured 19 points in the three league matches.

After the final Aizad Syed, Advisor to Chairman PCB, gave away the prizes. The winners’ trophy was received by Junaid Ali, captain Stags Club. Arshman Butt received best batsman award, Saeedullah (Ludihana Gym) received best bowler’s award while Hamza Nazar (Stags) received best all- rounder award. Other prize winners were Zeeshan Ahmed Khan (Ludhiana Gym) and Rizwan Siddiq (Stags Club). Raza Hameed, prominent cricket organiser, gave souvenir to chief guest Aizad Syed.
