Students of a polytechnic college in Karachi recently launched a peaceful protest over the increase in tuition fees. Many students are of the view that the increase in fees is wholly unacceptable and unjust.
Owing to the increase in tuition fees, the families of the students who are enrolled at the institution will face countless difficulties in managing their budget. Students who cannot afford the exorbitant fees will be compelled to drop out. This will adversely affect their choices and future opportunities.
