No CNG for three days

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Monday announced the CNG shutdown schedule for the current week.
As per a SSGC handout, all CNG stations in Sindh will remain closed for 24 hours on Tuesday (today), Thursday and Saturday from 8am onwards.
Meanwhile, the All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) has urged the authorities concerned to formulate a sound long-term strategy to counter availability of faulty CNG cylinders, which pose serious risks to precious human lives and property.
Office bearers of the association expressed their grief over the loss of human lives during recent incidents involving substandard cylinders. Claiming that the APCNGA had invested in workshops and trainings to introduce safety standards, the officials alleged that vested interests have been impeding their efforts.
