Teachers boycott classes in protest
NOWSHERA: The teachers at the Government Girls High School Ali Baig boycotted classes in protest against the behaviour of the principal on Wednesday.
All teachers of the school boycotted classes and reached the office of the District Education Officer (female).Talking to reporters, they alleged that principal of the Government Girls High School, Ali Baig, Basirat Afroz, and her 15-year-old daughter, Muniba Bibi, who is suffering from mental disease, had harassed the teachers. She not only abused the lady teachers but also tortured them and the students, they lamented. The lady teachers asked Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and Education Minister Muhammad Atif to issue transfer orders of the principal or else they would be compelled to launch a protest campaign.
