Eight-year-old girl raped

OKARA: Police on Wednesday arrested a man on the charge of raping an eight-year-old girl at Basit Town. Muhammad Asif, uncle of the victim girl, informed police that Abdul Malik used to give religious education to girls of the area at the victim's house. On the day of the incident, the accused sexually assaulted his niece after the departure of other girls, he added. The accused is a resident of Thatta Jheedo in the limits of Ravi police. The police said medical test of both accused and victim would be conducted.
