Rear Admiral Ather Mukhtar calls on governor

Karachi Commander Rear Admiral Ather Mukhtar on Wednesday called on Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair at the Governor House.
Professional matters came up for discussion at the meeting, said a statement issued by the Governor House. The governor said the Pakistan Navy had the best professional expertise and also praised its role for defending the marine borders and prevention of smuggling.
Because of its expertise, the Pakistan Navy was prominent among the navies in the world, added Zubair. The governor said the nation was proud of the Pakistan Navy for its role for the defence of the country’s maritime frontiers. Rear Admiral Ather Mukhtar said the Pakistan Navy would always come up to the expectations of the nation.
