Speed climbing wall inaugurated
ISLAMABAD: A speed climbing wall in the vicinity of Pakistan Sports Complex was inaugurated here Tuesday.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony as chief guest Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada said that another sports facility has been added into the sports infrastructure.“The facility of speed climbing wall would be useful for our climbers.”
Federal Minister Mian Riaz Pirzada congratulated Alpine Club of Pakistan and Pakistan Sports Board on the completion of climbing wall. He also assured that the ministry and Pakistan Sports Board will fully cooperate for the promotion of climbing in country.
The federal minister said the government also hoped that Alpine Club of Pakistan will also play its role for the promotion of speed climbing so that country could earn good name by participating in international competitions.
