Just as in the case of the Kalabagh dam the Pak-China Economic Corridor has become a victim of inter-provincial controversy. The blame for stirring up such needless controversies goes to our ignorant politicians. Their actions always lead to disharmony among the federating units.
Instead of involving technical people to decide such matters with logic and technical reasons, our politicians are taking decisions and making immature statements. This is what happened when Ahsan Iqbal issued a statement and Asfandyar Wali countered the minister’s argument by retorting with a statement of his own. Unfortunately, our politicians’ lack of vision and foresight has brought Pakistan to this sorry state. Being Pakistanis our foremost aim should be the prosperity of our country. Technical advisers from China and Pakistan should decide the route keeping in view the interests of our country and early development of this economic corridor.
