Belt promotion contests held

LAHORE: Annual belt promotion competitions of Pakistan Martial Arts Centre Islampura were held under the supervision of Dr Rizwan Ali, red belt three don.
During the competitions, young kids put on display their judo and karate skills like breaking of tiles on belly, nan-chaku and stick performances. Karatekas also displayed katas. After the competition, Kamran Rizwan, Mohammad Sajid, Mohammad Usman, Mohammad Umer, Hassan Ilyas, Shoaib, Khyzer and Hayat got promoted to next belts and were given shields. In the girls’ category, Tashfain, Sheza, Mahnoor, Hafza, and Hiba were promoted and were also given shields.
