KARACHI: Gulshan Tigers outclassed Karimabad by seven wickets in their match of the Innovators Karachi Super League here at Naya Nazimabad Lawai cricket stadium on Friday.
Batting first, Karimabad posted 165 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Ahmer Nasir scored 42 off 25 balls and Haider Abbas made 32. Shahzaib Ahmed grabbed three wickets for 21 runs.
Gulshan Tigers chased down the target with seven wickets in hand. Fauz-ul-Hasan’s 90-run knock played an important part in his side’s triumph. Skipper Naveed Khan made 48 runs.
Fauz received the man-of-the-match award and a cash prize of Rs3,000. In another match, Lyari Riders beat Defence Royals in a thriller by 25 runs.
