Punjab, Sindh, KP members to meet ahead of PHF Congress
ISLAMABAD: A good number of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Congress members belonging to Punjab, KP and Sindh have called important meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday (January 3) to take a joint course of action against federation’s January 4 meeting also convened in Islamabad. A former Olympian who has also been issued PHF Congress agenda confirmed to The News that a meeting has been convened of all those genuine congress members who have serious reservation against the federation working. “We have decided to meet in Islamabad on Wednesday to take a collective course of action against the PHF Congress meeting.” “It is clearly mentioned in the PHF constitution that Congress meeting would be held each year where audited accounts of the federation would be presented. No such meeting was held during the last two years. We have to look into our option before taking future course of action,” one of the members of congress told The News. He said that meeting in Islamabad on January 3 would be attended by a good number of Congress members of Punjab, KP and Sindh.
