PESHAWAR: The wife of former world squash champion Qamar Zaman died here on Saturday.
Her Nimaz-i-Janaza was performed at the family’s village, Naway Killay, in Peshawar.
Sportsmen, government officials, political workers and notables of the area attended the funeral. Qamar Zaman won the British Open to become the world squash champion.
