The IBDP class of Roots International Schools (RIS), Wellington Campus, Sector H-8, held a bake sale for charity cause here on Monday under the umbrella of 4CCI - a sister NGO of RIS.
Students exhibited delectable Italian baked items and scrumptious sweet treats along with face painting and a donation setup for noble cause. Students of RIS organised and participated passionately by baking lasagna, pizza, marble cake, chocolate fudge cake, French fries, sugar and fruit cookies and Mousse pastries.
The students presented their baked goods along with a donation box available for everyone to donate as much they wish. Students and teachers donated generously and the dishes were appreciated and sold out completely.
The 4CCI Department has been really active in organising fundraising events for IDPs and other causes. The staff and faculty members encouraged students to support generously for the philanthropic cause.
Rootsians have always held up the custom of donating for different causes for community uplift. Under the umbrella of 4CCI almost four huge bake sale events take place every year generating a lumpsum amount for victims of natural disasters.
