KARACHI: An emerging model Amna Sabir has been appointed as ambassador for Marta Women Football Club, the club said in a press release on Wednesday.
She met with the team at Agha Khan Gymkhana. During the interaction, she said that Karachi was brimming with talent but the players needed proper training and coaching to excel.
The club’s patron-in-chief Pirzada Ajmal Farooqi said there was a need to organise events regularly. He added that despite difficult circumstances the women footballers had been working hard. The club’s president Raees Khan and Director Marketing Beenish Afreen were also present on the occasion.
