PESHAWAR: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) provincial head Sikandar Sherpao has said that the province has been facing serious governance issue due to lack of vision of the provincial government.

He was addressing a public meeting in Bhanamari area in the provincial capital.

The activist Awami National Party including Amanullah, Almas Khan and others announced to join the QWP on the occasion.

Sikandar Sherpao said that there was no uniformity in the policies of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government, which created chaos in the province. He lashed out at the PTI government for relying on ‘lip service,’ instead of adopting pragmatic measures for the progress of the province.

The QWP leader said that good ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan were vital for stability of peace and economic development in the region.

He said that both the countries had been remained victim of terrorism and extremism since long and “it is time to revitalise and re-establish cordial and friendly relations.”
