Power problems

Pakistan has been facing acute shortage of electricity and gas for quite some time. Our politicians have been indulging in blame game and have failed to draw up any concrete plan to overcome this crisis.
Since the present government is close to completing its two years in office will someone update the nation regarding steps taken so far to overcome the crisis and what are its future plans? This will, to some extent, enable voters to decide their future.
